    What is New World Harvesting Luck?

    Harvesting luck in New World increases your chance to get rare drops when you harvest different kinds of nodes around Aeternum. As long as your Harvesting skill is high enough for each type of node, you can harvest it for the base resource, such as potatoes, basil, or fibers. However, there are more rare types of plants, herbs, and new world items you can obtain from certain gathering nodes, like Shadecloth and Verbana Flower in various gathering nodes. In order to get these, you'll want to raise your Harvesting luck.

    What Does Harvesting Luck do?

    Harvesting luck increases the chances you'll get a special drop outside of the standard woods that you'll obtain from trees. Here's what you can log in New World ):

    Farming Plants and Wild Fruit (Level 0): Barley, Berry, Blueberry, Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, Corn, Cranberries, Honey, Melons, Nuts, Potatoes, Squash, Strawberries, and Wheat

    Hemps (Level 0): Dead Dryad Vine, Drop of Azalea Nectar, Fibers, Shadecloth, Phasefiber, Verbena Stem, Verbena Leaf, and Verbena Flower

    Herbs (Level 0): Basil, Cinnamon, Dill, Garlic, Ginger, Hyssop, Mind, Nutmeg, Oregano, Paprika, Parsley, Peppercorn, Rosemary, Sage, Tarragon, and Thyme

    Magical Creatures (Level 0): Lightning Beetle (Lightning Beetle), Blightmoth (Blightmoth Dust), Earthshell Turtle (Earthshell Tail), Salamander Snail (Salamander Slime), Lifemoth (Lifemoth Eyes), Soulwyrm (Soulwyrm Tongue), Floating Spinefish (Spinefish Fins), and all mote types. Also Shard of Enchanted Earth, Sliver of Enchanted Earth, and Chunk of Enchanted Earth.

    Fungus (Level 0): Bloodspore, Bumbleblossom, Capped Tanglewisp, Cascaded Gillflower, Fronded Petalcap, Fungal Slime,Fungal Spores, Glowing Mushroom Cap, Mushroom,Mushroom Fins, Slimy Twistcap, Spinecap, Suncreeper, Tanglewisp, Tendrilspine, Toadpot, Toadstool Fringe, Void Pitcher, Warm Platecap, and Weeping Shellbed.

    Prismabloom (Level 0): Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Green, Magenta, Orange, Red, Turquoise, Violet, White, and Yellow (Used in Dyes via Cooking)

    Magical Plants (Level 30): Blightrot, Dragonglory, Earthspine, Lifebloom, Shockbulb, Soulsprout, and Rivercress - Motes + Stem from each. Leaf & Flower for each type.

    Silkweed (Level 100): Silkweed, Glintstrands, Scalecord

    Wirefiber (Level 175): Wirefiber, Blisterweave, Scalecloth

    If you want to Harvest Verbana Leaf, Verbana Stem, Glinstrands, Blisterweave, Scalecord, and Scalecloth, you'll want a higher Harvesting Luck score in order to be able to find it more frequently.
