    Example 1: Agility Elf
    Theoretical Elemental Def Formula: Pentagram Defense+Agility/10
    My agility stat: 2103

    Supposed Elemental Defense: 2103/10(truncated)+258=468
    Real Elemental Defense: 465

    Why is so?
    2179 (agi without ML stats)/10+258=465.

    Example 2: Dark Lord (Without ML stats added)
    Theoretical Elemental Defense Formula: Pentagram+Agility/7
    My agility stat: 140

    In this cases, it matches perfectly: 140/7+258=278

      I will just remove penta to make it easier:

      This one is actually an interesting one, since the formula displayed on some fansite is actually wrong

        Points from MST should work like permanent statuses, so, I guess there is an issue in this case, but as any other variable status, you definitely should exclude ancient status!

          Ancient agility stats contribute to normal defense, attack speed, defense rate, etc... but that they should not contribute for elemental defense? Where the hell is the sense in that?^^

          Variable stats should only NOT contribute at equipping items ONLY.

          So why the fuuk should you have ancient statoptions at all? O.o

          Ok, they dont contribute to reach requirements for items - its stupid, but ok. But if they are not gonna be a part of dmg or defense functions either - why should we have them?

          I kind of expressed myself in a wrong way there, they are not useful to characters' ITEMS build and this happens because there is no logic to bug builds to use items that once you take them off you cannot wear them again...

          To be honest, if you look at normal system and elemental system as two separated things, you can simply dismiss your statement and work with two different logics, making variable statuses work only for normal system. So, in this case, you would have them boosting your normal attributes like def, speed and so on.

          But, then, we have elemental formulas based on AGI status, which was just a bad idea IMO, because they could have worked only with elemental items like errtels and could have created a multiplier for that in GL char (like we have in RF) and let other classes item dependent.

          In the end, you are right, it makes more sense to add them to elemental system too.

        I run similar tests with elemental damage, and it is the same: neither ML stats or ancients work.

        Example 5: Rage Fighter (With ML Stats added)
        Theoretical Elemental Damage Formula: Pentagram+Agility/3

        PS: Note that when calculating "Supposed Elemental Damage/Defenses" I didn't consider stat points given from ancient, which they actually should.

            Hello Robert and thanks for the reply.

            That is what I found out, that the system does not recognize them, but it is not logical. Why would agility give normal defense but not elemental defense? What would be the reason? It is the way it is, but not the way it SHOULD be.

              As I said in the description, Im not saying that this is a bug or anything, just asking first if there is a reason for this.

              So, why from my 504-841 elemental damage, when I add a pentagram with 208-272 damage, my elemental damage goes to 721-1122 instead of 712-1113?? Is there some explanation?

                Cape raises final elemental damage, not base one.

                maybe a visual bug, like wizard inc dmg/skill dmg(i dont know if they were fixed) or the gl elemental dmg that should be (dmg*3)*wings inc dmg, the only way to test it is using a pent with activated critical dmg.

              Hello guys, talking about elemental stuff, I guess there is something wrong with Elemental critical Damage on Ferea. The elemental damage is so low and critical damage is not working there (only works for AGL).

              Critical elemental damage works perfectly in Acheron or Raklion map, but it doesn´t at Ferea.
              Please I would like to know if it is a bug or not.

              Interesting facts.... still wonder how base elemental damage for GL is calculated? Looks like the triple of mentioned on carácter stats.
              ​And yes looks like you dont see critical working on férrea because their defense is higher than your maximun elemental damage. Only Gl has that Luxury

                Ok, so that explains it and actually matches it perfectly. Yet, that bonus was NEVER documented by webzen, so was kind of hard to figure it out, but now is clear

                  Could someone please explain what is an Ele Imprint (Elemental Imprint Bonus?) displayed on "Element" tab of the "Character" stats window? Apparently for my char the displayed number is 36 (the same number as for two of Javier's chars mentioned above).

                    Yes, it refers to that.

                    Anyway, that extra bonus was given by pentagram +, not related to your imprint bonus.
