It won't really matter what US server you're starting in merge is coming pretty soon, but at the moment Mocomochi & Lykan are the busiest servers.

As for class it would really depend on what your preference is. I prefer ranger/blade for myself.

Magician/Elementor/Arcanist = Great at farming & PVP.
Acrobat/Ranger/Crackshooter = Great at PVP & mediocre when it comes to farming.
Assist/Bill Poster/Force Master = Great in PVP & Trash when it comes to farming.
Assist/Ring Master/Seraph = Great Tank/Support PVP & Farming.
Mercenary/Blade/Slayer = Great in Farming & Trash in PVP unless you have GREAT gears and deep pockets.
Mercenary/Knight/Templar = Okay with Farming & PVP.
Acrobat/Jester/Harlequin = Trash in both pvp & farming but it's a really fun char to play with.

Now take your pick.

i'm kinda Mage Player when i play online games so i might go for an elementor
